Another K2 with broken foot and hinge

Mostly posting this to add to the list of people with these points of failure right out of the box. After six months of waiting, I was more than a little disappointed to find that this seems to be a common issue. My initial registry of a support ticket was relatively painless, and the CSR I spoke with was wonderful; now it’s a matter of waiting to see what their suggested resolution is.

In the meantime, is it worth securing the foot temporarily and running it with the single door hinge, or am I better off just waiting until support offers me a solution?

Ultimately, I just secured the foot on with some good quality double sided tape I had laying around (m3 or gorilla glue brand). Idk about the hinge. Luck
