Bed leveling and Z offset

Can someone help me? I have an Ender 3 V3 and broke the ribbon that attaches to the touchscreen. I am in the process of getting a replacement, but I need to do something about my z offset. It doesn’t seem to be taking when I change it through the software. Every time I print, it is smashed down, and I end up canceling the print. I can’t find any help on manually leveling the print bed, adjusting the limit switch, or precise ways to set z offset through the app or software and for it to stick.

As far as I know, the ribbons are broken and the software can’t send any commands to the firmware, you need to find an aftermarket to fix the ribbons

Glad you could make it over here… :+1:

I’m not sure which Ender-3 V3 you have but to look for instructions on leveling you could try this :arrow_right: Creality Wiki page :arrow_left:. Pick out your printer and see if there is something in the menu to help you. Also a You Tube search might help. Sorry I don’t have that model so i can’t be much help.
