Can't connect Ender 3 V3 SE to Creality Print

In Creality Print, I have tried to add my device by scanning, but my printer (which is turned on) doesn’t show up when I scan for it.

I would add it manually, but that asks for the device’s IP address, and I can’t find the device IP address. What I am able to find online about how to locate my printer’s IP address tells me to access the Network tab on my printer, but my printer doesn’t have a network tab. The screen menu just has options for Print, Prepare, Control, and Leveling (it says Main at the top, but you can’t select it).

As far as I know the standard V3 SE does not have wifi capability, that is why there is no network tab.

You can fit a nebula pad, I did, but I believe there is now an issue with these not working on some mainboard varients.

If you google, there may be other solutions available to you.

Yes, in the specifications of said printer, it says ‘File transfer: SD Card’ .
So the user has to manually move the files to a SD card and then insert the card into a slot on the 3D printer.
I can’t imagine doing that with my printer….changing the project 150~200 times per day, and doing so with a SD card would be wild.

What are you using you’re printer for that you’re changing the project 150-200 times a day? Just curious. We mainly just have it for a hobby for our kids.

At work for printing spare parts and sometimes prototypes that will be later replaced with metal equivalent. The tolerances are just good enough, however, for the prototypes, small changes are being made continuously, so there will be a huge amount of updated models.

At home i print grars and elements for stepper motors, just a hobby, but just like at work, i use a software to create models…at home i ise FreeCad, with this only my imagination is the limit :+1:
