As far as I know you can print but with a different logic!
You select a filament from the list for the part to print (it uses normally 1st filament for new parts).
Then you change the type of filament like here where I set it to PETG:
Then you print send it to printer but switch to spool holder like here:
As long as the CFS is connected it will default to CFS and you have manually to switch to spool holder.
