Hi there,
I am new to 3D printing, but have had truly remarkable success printing with my 1st printer, the Creality 3 V3 KE.
I have used a few slicers, but landed on using Orca slicer as my main go-to. Haven’t really touched any of the presets for my printer, other than layer heights on a need to be basis. Like I said, prints have come out flawlessly… Until now.
All of a sudden, EVERY single print has their supports like fused to the main models print. It’s quite bizarre and very disheartening. Its literally impossible to remove the supports. They are so insanely strong.
Does anyone have any idea what’s going on? Like I said, no settings have changed at all, and usually I break off supports with little to no effort at all, with full print preservation.
I really would appreciate any help.
Other info:
-
printing creality standard PLA (same as before)
-
Most of the problems started with the new spool of filament (the same filament from Creality (as before) but in a bundled value pack)
-
0.4 nozzle (again, everything is exactly the same as per how I started with the machine)
-
PEI bed (comes with printer)
-
All support types and fills have the same issue
-
Never used to have any issue breaking off supports, now they are insanely strong and fused to prints, regardless of type of support
