Creality Hi - error CL0517

Hi everyone!

My Creality Hi has been printing perfectly for the past 7 months until this morning. I won’t go into too much detail, what I will say is it is not printing when I send a print, it does the usual startup sequence and calibration test. When the filament is fed into the print head it begins to extrude which is normal cleaning the nozzle of the previous filament, however this is where it gets weird, it keeps extruding and the print bed keeps moving back and forth without stopping and it’ll do this forever if you don’t cancel the print.

Once you’ve cancelled the print, it gives an error message CL0517. I’ve looked up this code but it’s not on the Wiki.

Please help.

You need to restore factory default settings, AND DISABLE PRESSURE ADVANCE on your slicer.

also turn off motion advance on the settings of the printer.

Thanks for your help, I didn’t do a factory reset because once I turned the Motion Advance off, it solved the problem. Thank you so much for your help.
