Creality K2 PLUS CB2565

Hello, I have a problem with the bed heating on my Creality K2 plus printer. I’m getting error cb2565. The temperature sensor shows room temperature, and the bed is not heating up. There is no power being supplied to the bed (0V between the red and blue wires). There is 230V between the black and blue wires.

I’ve taken measurements, the heated bed is receiving a fluctuating 230V supply at the controller, so I assume the control is OK. There is probably an open circuit somewhere in the bed.

It sounds like your printer’s heated bed isn’t getting power. Since you’re seeing 0V between the red and blue wires, the problem is likely with the power going to the bed rather than the bed itself.

Here are a few simple things you can check:

  1. Cable connections – Make sure the bed’s power cable is firmly plugged in on both ends (at the bed and on the mainboard). Sometimes loose or slightly burnt connectors can stop power from reaching the bed.

  2. Temperature sensor plug – Since the printer shows room temperature, the sensor might still be okay, but double-check the small plug that connects it to the board just in case.

  3. Restart or reset – Try restarting the printer or reloading the firmware. Sometimes a past temperature error can make the printer stop sending power for safety reasons.

  4. Mainboard issue – If everything looks fine but the bed still isn’t heating, the part of the board that controls bed power (called a MOSFET or relay) may have failed.

If you’re not comfortable checking the electronics yourself, it might be best to contact Creality support or ask in a K2 Plus user group — they can often point out exactly which part needs replacing.
