Dead Wifi Ender3 V3

Hi All,

I have an Ender 3 V3 regular rooted with Guppy. Mid-print, it suddenly lost connection to Mainsail. Since then, it seems like the Wi-Fi on the machine is broken. When I try searching for Wi-Fi, it just shows a loading circle. The Wi-Fi address on the device shows 0.0.0.0.

Troubleshooting steps performed:

  1. Rebooting the machine
  2. Rebooting the router
  3. Checked the router page to see if the MAC address is present (not present)
  4. Connecting via hotspot from a mobile phone
  5. Left the printer unpowered overnight
  6. Visually checked the mainboard for any physical damage
  7. Checked Wi-Fi antenna plug

The printer performs all its functions as normal. It just won’t connect to Wi-Fi. I can’t reflash the firmware, as I can’t SSH into it. Is there a way to reflash the mainboard as I see a micro USB internally?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards, Jason

hello,I‘m a new PM of CP.Have you solved your problem? Could you tell me which version of the software you are using? Better record it for me, and I’ll have an engineer take a look at your problem

I added ‘factory_reset’ to a pendrive and booted the machine which restored it back to the creality screen. I then had the ability to ‘Reset to defaults’ from the screen menu. which resolved the issue.
