I bought 8 K2 Plus with CFS Combo In December, 3 arrived completely broken and got enough parts to fix them by March after 100s of emails. Its May and as of today 6 of the CFS are broken and we have replaced all the parts in them, at this point we might have 4-5 full parts of CFS from parts sent to fix them. Of the 8 original printers 2 are broken and are not used (slam the side of the wall and fail) 2 of the printers are 50/50 on if they complete a print, 3 of them only work when we go spool and not multi color. Our print farm now uses Adventure 5m Pros for quality and AD5X for multi color as soon as we make our money back we will be selling the 8 K2 Pluses on Ebay if anyone need them for parts… Absolute disaster of a decision to buy the K2 Plus for our company. On a side note one of the machines has been a champ and has had zero problems and has been running almost full time… but that is 1 of 8…
K2 Plus Good thing: The local “junker” only changed me $25 to hull it away.
Issue is they gave you the ability to adjust FR which i have no idea why you wouldn’t want your flow at 100%, I set it to 1, then adjust Z and PA and that works for me everytime, all filaments, until it applies its own Z offset for whatever reason. Always have to double my Z offset……………but Im just an idiot with a 3d printer thats even less intelligent…

I LOVE my K2 Plus with CFS.
I started 3D printing in 2017 with an ANET A8, which arrived as a giant box of parts that eventually became a working 3D printer. It printed well, but something always seemed to be failing. Even so, it showed me the potential of 3D printing, and I was hooked.
Later, I bought a CR-10 for work and printed hundreds of parts with it. That experience convinced me to replace my A8 with an Ender 3 Pro. The Ender 3 Pro has been a dependable workhorse for my personal projects, but I eventually wanted a larger build volume and multicolor printing.
Because my experience with Creality has been almost entirely positive, moving up to the K2 Plus with CFS was an easy decision.
The K2 Plus and CFS were packed extremely well, and everything arrived in perfect condition. My first prints were dramatically better than anything I had produced on the Ender 3 Pro, which surprised me. At a 0.2 mm layer height, the layer lines are nearly invisible by comparison.
Given the complexity of a multi-filament system, I expected to encounter plenty of problems. I quickly learned that filament condition is extremely important. Brittle filament can break inside the long and complicated path it must travel through the CFS.
The solution is simple: keep your filament dry at all times. A filament dryer can help prevent moisture-related problems, but once filament has become extremely brittle, it may be too far gone. At that point, replacing it is often the best option.
Creality Print 7.2 is also a major improvement over my previous workflow. The learning curve is somewhat steep, but so far I have been able to get everything I need from it, and I have very few complaints.
I eventually plan to print with ABS and polycarbonate, so I have high hopes for the K2 Plus heated chamber.
So my printer came from the pioneer program my printer is the k2 pro. I have had some issues most of it was my fault like using a brand for the first time and not dialing it in. There were some software issues but was resolved with a restart. There has been times where I had to take apart the nozzle due to a chunk of filament breaking off in the extruder and that was super easy compared to some other brands. Honestly every one that has an issue complains about support but once you learn the channels of communication I usually get the part shipped by the end of the week. For me the experience has been positive but of course for me I do tech support so if something happens I start to troubleshoot.
I’ve had mine 6 weeks, the CFS unit is already faulty do to a tab in each bay that detects filament loaded..
these are what detects the filament. As you can see they are worn down and causing nothing but failure to detect filament.
That doesn’t look anything like a Creality CFS. If it were, the inside should be clean, zero room for that much debris in 3d printing.
