Hello,
i started printing today after a few months not using my printer and now my printer makes some wird noises (like you can here in the video). I think it comes from the black wheel from the extruder, but i’m not sure.
I cleaned the nozzle and everything, but it is still there. The print is still good, but i’m not sure that i make it worse if i continue to print.
That doesn’t sound good. If possible I’d have a peek inside and make sure there isn’t anything in there maybe blocking it. If there isn’t I’d try to get some kind of grease or lubricant in there…I may be wrong I am a nooby
Hello,
thanks for your answer. I opened the extruder again and checked everything, but there was nothing stuck or looks dry. I searched through the whole web and found some guys that have a similar problem and they changed the retraction to 0.8 mm and 45 mm/s. (i used the settings from this homepage: https://all3dp.com/2/ender-3-s1-cura-profile-settings/). I changed that in cura and now this wierd noise is gone.
