I recently swapped out my stock bed with the “Chowthink 235 * 235mm 500w Silicone Ender3 Heated Bed V2.0”, but I had to return it because it emitted a strong odor and the built-in magnets were too weak to hold a steel build plate.
Now, after reinstalling my stock bed, my printer will shut down immediately when the bed preheat activates.
I replaced the thermistor (twice), ensured all wiring are correct, checked for frayed or broken wires, and performed continuity checks from bed to board. Running the PID autotune has no issues and, interestingly,
I found that if I run the bed preheat cycle immediately after running the PID autotune, as long as the bed temp is initially above 30deg, the printer does not shut down.
Any thoughts here? I am at wits end.
