Falcon A1 pro compatible honeycomb bed...height etc

Hi there i used all my savings to get a falcon A1 pro which comes with the desktop smoke filter and rotary tool etc

I need a honeycomb laser bed for cutting but i for a while now can not spend the £100 for the offical one

I have seen alot of cheaper honeycomb beds for sale but they all seem to be too thick at 20mm or upto 25mm thick

I saw the official one is only 15mm thick which seems to be thinnest available as i have looked online and can not find anymore that thin

Am i right in thinking then the 20 to 25mm ones are no good at all as they will be way too close too the laser

I know with the rotary tool i get different size (from the image) legs to prop up the machine to fit the rotary under

So i am thinking if no-one knows of any cheaper beds i can buy from here in the UK that fit i could just get one of the cheap thicker ones and proper machine up when i want to cut?

Im new to engraving and laser machines by the way. I made the mistake in getting a cheaper sculptfun icube from AliExpress which still shipped from the uk but it came with a crack in case so they gave a measly £7 sorry for the crack partial refund and then 2 days later the laser stopped firing and it won’t work at all and they won’t refund my money….as they said they refunded me….£7!!

So i have decided to do as i always do…go all out or as much as what bit of money i have haha

Its ok i put in a cheeky offer on their ebay as they are £99 on there for £69 and they accepted :joy: so i have a official one coming

I picked up a brand new boxed Creality Falcon A1 Pro honeycomb bed from Amazon for $99, with free shipping to the UK. Much better deal than the £169 displayed on the Creality UK store!

They sell it here for 99 on their official ebay uk store but theres a ebay offer at the moment discounts on loads of items from most sellers so it was down too £79 but i made them a offer of £69 lol and they accepted so i am very please with that

I saw the offical ones on AliExpress for £50 and then postage but i know it would come bent by the time it reached the UK as ive had 2 bad experiences now with lst few weeks with that place

So im happy now i have the bed coming
