I’ve got a Falcon A1 pro abaout a month ago. Then I bought also the 2W-IR-module. But there is a problem changing it. I can remove and remount the 20w-module without a problem. But when i mount the 2w-IR nad oush the lever down (until it touches the end-stopper) the 2w-IR-module is still not solid an wobbles. The store where I ordered it, even exchanged it, but its the smae problem.
Now I’m asking is there something wrong with these modules? Or am I doinig something wrong? Which would surprise me, because i can mount the 20w-module without a proböem.
Can you show the carriage from the front maybe some screws are loose.
I don’t think it’s the module, unlikely that it’s machined in a wrong way so that it is too small.
Does it sit flush with the top and of the carriage when moved all the way up and fastened?
Yes it sits flush with the top end of the carriage, like it does with the “normal” 20w-module. Here are 3 videos: one from the carriage, as you suggested. and Two from the top, with the module, one with the 2w-IR-Module, the other one with the 20w-module. You can see the difference; the one sits firm, the other one wobbles.
Nice that it fits now, usually it is the screws, I compared the videos to my A1 Pro but also didn’t see anything looking wrong, so if the module was actually machined incorrectly I could have searched quite a while for differences, haha.
