The connector for the fan is soldered on the right side of the light bar, in the manual and all pictures the fan is on the left side. .
SOLUTION: You can move the plastic with the fan on it to the right side of the unit. You have to flip the orientation of the fan, so it is blowing out.
The fan switch and automatic operation still work.
