When printing tall skinny objects on a bed slinger printer I think the jerk and accleration of the bed becomes the main cause of failed prints. I understand some other slicer software allows you to set the jerk settings of the axis indipendently so you can reduce these failures. A more advanced option would be to set a top and bottom layer jerk/acceleratoin speed. IE the higher you print the slower it goes as the more prone to failure.
and yes I know skinny objects should be printed with brims.
