Had a massive clog and there is something stuck in the exturder

Hello,

I had a massive clog. Everything has been printing fine for a few days then it clogged and filled up all around the silicone sleeve. I cleared everything in the hot end and replaced the nozzle, but there is something (probably filament) jammed in the extruder. I can’t seem to dislodge it. I know it’s in the extruder because I removed it and everything is clear beyond it. I can see a little bit of something when I look in there using a flashlight. Any thoughts on how to clear this?

Thanks,

Troy

I did end up fixing it. I took the extruder apart and was able to dislodge the piece of filament. It was a pain in the rear, but after figuring out the proper sequence to put it back together and get the spring in the right spot it worked well.

So far, bed adhesion is not nearly as good as my older Ender 3 V2, but I guess I’m slowly getting it dialed in. I am using the Creality Hyper PLA. Not sure why this model is such a pain to get it to stick to the bed.
