Up till now I have used an online slicer called “Self Cad” but they seem to have removed this tool. Can Creality let me place one object intersecting another and then remove all “material” from the space they have in common?

I have the same question. I couldn’t find anything, but my model worked with the overlapping pieces. It flags an error, bu t printed fine. Wasted a bit of filament on parts that were inside the other half of the model.
SelfCAD is working again. Much easier than messing around with Creality, just place the objects where you want and click on “delete the intersection”.
