Yeah I tried that and it didn’t help much.
Did you figure it out? I’m getting the error and the cutter is not cutting the filament all the way. The configurations are all set in fluidd. This is only happening on multi color prints
So far I’ve been printing with the filament cutting sequence working beautifully. 2 things that could’ve made it work were the replacement screws for the filament detector weren’t in my kit and I reused the old screws which I think the OEM screws are too long and gave me false filament section. And there’s a small roll pin when you remove the magnetic piece of the extruder, mine was not sitting properly and could’ve contributed to my problems. This was definitely not a software issue. The hardware didn’t come with my kit was definitely needed. I was lucky enough to have those screws in my inventory. (I believe the screws were M2 not sure the length though)
Has anyone tried the Creality cutter in place of the DXC2 one as a test. Physical it fits correctly but does it work - theory is it should.
I think I figured mine out. I replaced all the tubing in my 3 cfs’s and I’ve had 2 successful multi color prints so far. Thank you for replying.
I just installed the DXC2 today, and went to change the firmware–only to find that the directions don’t match my firmware. I’m using V1.1.3.13 still (downgraded from the 1.1.4 version due to print failures). Which firmware version needs to be used to make the instructions work? Will this be an isssue each time there is a new firmware?
I took a picture of the only thing that almost resembled the first set of instructions–that looks like this. Is this the setting that needs to be changed to E-40 ?
If i need to try the 1.1.4* firmware again, I could try.
Thank you! It would be nice to get this running properly ![]()
