So i just bought one. it arrived today. built it. going through checklist and once it meets the x limit switch and tries to lower it starts jumping all over.
I turned it off before possibly harming the belts.
Any help would be welcome.

Hello @David_Crosby …!
Welcome to the Creality Forum…!
Go back over your connections and make sure they are on snug.
Especially the left side limit switches on the top left side of the frame.
Also make sure the voltage is correctly set…
ive done all that. i have found others that have needed a refund as this issue was not able to be resolved. so i have reached out to Creality
I would like to find a solution instead of sending it backvideo of issue
Sorry it’s not working properly. I tried to watch the video but it states I need permission or something…
Probably best to return depending where you got it. Saves a lot of waiting for emails.
there fixed permissions on the video file
Can it be moved by hand to see if the belts or something is stuck…?
yes but there is a point it gets tight and hard to move. i also applied more machine grease to all rods.
when off it moves freely until it makes contact at the point in the vid where it acts up.
okay i feel stupid now. so i have the issue solved after spending the night up searching for resolutions.
problem was with stabilization arms causing not enough clearance. moving them from internal connection to external connection solved the issue. something that was not in the manual. " showed in either or configuration" so thanks all for the help
