i am looking at the K2 Plus combo. I want to print various items but primarily guitar parts and pick guards. I am looking for someone else that does this and want to know if the quality is there or not.
Hello, I don’t print guitar parts; I am very far from being musical, but I can confirm that the plus will do what you need it to do, very easily. I’ve done some smaller car parts. It can take very high heat, industrial-grade filament as well.
So it should cope well with guitar parts.

Thank you taking the time to reply. I’m just curious about the design software and choosing colors, etc. I’m considering the K2 plus with the 4 bay CFS. And i’m also curious about the “sheen” or finish that I can achieve with the different color filaments.
In regards to car parts, can you give me more detail on what you design?
You are welcome. I use Autocad Fusion 360 as well as Nomad sculpt. Nomad, though, is for more arty types of things. But Fusion 360 works well for precision. I’ve designed spacers for a Honda civic and some bonnet clips for an Opel OPC, not big by any means, but they work very well. I also designed a reducer adapter for a BMW intake pipe. Used PETG Carbon fiber filament at 100% infill. It’s a part that doesn’t require extreme heat.
In terms of choosing colors, it depends on what is being printed or what the potential client requires. But the possibilities are endless. You mention sheen, that always looks nice on something that is visible, but on the flipside, something matt will bring a different look as well.
