Does anybody know what is causing this? I have made sure everything was tensioned appropriately and calibrated.

Are you able to track down where the noise might be coming from…?

Not sure what that noise is. I listened on mine and there is the small squeaking noise but not that other grinding one…
It happens right before the print head starts moving. It it sorta like the print head is running into something but there is nothing blocking it
I think that banging noise comes from reversing direction at the motors in the back, mine K1 Max does that when it is reversing directions although not that loud.
I think It does not do any harm to the machine.
You could oil all the pulleys with som light motoroil like 5W40.

It’s odd, it was not doing that before. It just started randomly one day
