K1C: CB2564

I’m back to square one with my K1C. I replaced my nozzle last week. When trying to load filament, I got the error [CB2564] The nozzle is not heating as expected. I checked my wiring and the hot end. I couldn’t see any damage. I reseated the wires. The board in front of the heating block has power, a blue LED indicates that.

Today I finally got the new heating block/hot end installed. Everything has power. The K1C boots as normal. I attempt to load the filament, and the CB2564 error pops up and the light inside the printer shuts off.

Does anyone have any idea behind this error?

Hello, if I were you, I would try connecting a multimeter to the current change between the power supply and the motherboard and watch the readings when the voltage drops and the screen goes dark. There may be a problem with the power supply and it cannot provide the required current and goes into protection mode.

The current consumption is very high when the desk and hotend are running.

It’s possible that the problem isn’t with the power supply, but you can test this theory.
