I have been using the K1C with CFS for a while now and recently started having a problem. The Bowden tube keeps coming out of the socket on the extruder so that when the CFS tries to feed filament, it goes out into the body of the printer instead of into the extruder. I have plugged the Bowden tube back in many times now and it may stay for one or two times, but then pops out again.
Unlike a unit that has a replaceable socket for the Bowden tube, the extruder for the CFS unit with the K1C did not come with any sort of clip to lock the tube into place. Is there a fix for this that does not involve replacing the complete extruder?

I had forgotten about the other login which is based on my amateur radio call sign. I ended up replacing the extruder. Now I have a related problem. The bowden tube stuck in the extruder and I could not release it. I ended up taking the extruder apart and prying out the holder. I believe the design is flawed. It uses a very small and delicate toothed ring to hold the bowden tube in place. That ring broke and jammed the bowden tube. When I got the part disassembled, I found this was the case. Since that delicate ring broke, there is no way to repair it so the extruder is useless unless an alternative connector can be installed.
I did find something that may work. I will update once they arrive and I can test to see if it indeed can replace the flawed connector.
The parts arrived and they do not work as the diameter is just slightly smaller so they do not hold when inserted. I ended up ordering a replacement extruder and then ordered a couple of spares.
