K1c thumbnails missing

I have 2 machines

K1 Max can slice in creality print and send to printer , thumbnails appear on printer screen

K1c can slice in creality print and send to printer, thumbnails do NOT appear on printer screen

both printers print the project no problem

Same stl file used in both cases only change is printer selection

using creality print version 7.1

K1C says firmware is up to date

all setting in creality print are the same

so what am I missing

hope someone out there has an answer

Hi!

I didn’t use K1 Max or K1C, but I would suggest to check a few things:

  • Try saving the G-code locally and transferring it to the K1C via USB. If the thumbnail appears, the issue may be related to network transfer rather than thumbnail generation.

  • Check whether the K1C displays thumbnails for older files that were previously printed.

  • Re-add the K1C in Creality Print and resend a test file.

  • Try sending any calibration slice to rule out any project-specific issue.

There also can be some firmware issue and I hope we will investigate it correctly.
