K2 non Pro Flushing Volumes not working on Creality Print

I just got a Creality K2 (non-Pro) and I’m having an issue with flushing volumes for multi-filament printing in Creality Print.

I’ve tried setting the flushing volume to both very low and very high values, but the printer always flushes the exact same amount on every print. The changes in the slicer don’t seem to have any effect.

I haven’t tried OrcaSlicer yet since there isn’t a default profile for the K2 non-Plus. I did read about someone with a K2 Plus who had a similar issue and fixed it by doing a factory reset, so I’m considering trying that.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with the K2? Did you find a solution?

Thanks in advance!

I am currently having same issue… my K2 is just flushing insane amounts of fillament… i tried using 0.2 flush values but still even though creality print showed 22g fillament flushed only, after weighting the waste, it weighted over 140g!

Hi everyone,

After looking into this, it seems the CFS firmware uses a hardcoded calculation to determine how much filament is flushed during color changes. This behavior is tied to the T0, T1, T2, and T3 commands used to select different filaments.

From what I found, the CFS automatically calculates the flushing volume based on the color transition settings configured in the CFS filament color options.

It would be great if a future update allowed flushing volumes to be defined directly in the G-code instead of relying on this fixed internal value. Right now, this results in significantly more filament being used than is actually necessary.
