K2 plus Calibration

Hello everyone,

Kind of a noob here, I wanted to calibrate according to the wiki and using the calibrations tests provided by creality slicer.

But the K2 plus has auto calibration features… Should i still do every test ? Which one can i skip if the printer does it automaticaly ?
Excep for wavy skins sometime (seem to happen with small layer heigt or resolved with auto calibration and maintenance) the prints are great with the defaults settings.

i Did not find any tutorial specificaly on the subject
Can someone help me find the ressources so that i can find an answer ?

IMHO you dont’ have to run all the calibration tests. I found this tutorial really useful when I was getting started: how to calibrate your filament | Creality Cloud

The auto filament calibration overlaps with the calibration tests. Both work. Personally, I find the auto-calibrations for ”pressure advance” and “Flow Ratio” to work better than my eye can pick out on the test prints. You can find those values in Fluidd. They only stay until the print is done, so be quick (or print big!). That should get things started.

One other thing, the autocalibration for Bed leveling should be done when yo put in a different build plate. I usually do it if the printer has been off a while or if I’m doing a print wheret he first layer is super crittical.
