K2 plus PA/Flow rate from filament profile

Hello printers. Is there a setting so that the flow rate is loaded into the g-code according to the filament profile data in Creality Print? The default is 1 (100%). Depending on the filament brand, after calibration, I get between 95% and 98%. Is it possible to set it so that the g-code is loaded with values from the filament profile, not the slicer? While I can change this when printing with a single filament, for multi-color printing, it would be best if it were automatically changed according to the values in the filament profile.

In Creality Print (v5.0 and newer), filament-specific calibrations (Flow Ratio and Pressure Advance) are tied directly to the Filament Profile, not the global Print Profile.

  • Filament Profile Settings: Open your custom filament profile, navigate to the Basic Information / Filament tab, and set your calibrated Flow Ratio (e.g., 0.96 for 96%). When doing multi-color or multi-material prints, the slicer automatically inserts g-code instructions to switch flow ratios per toolhead/extruder change according to whichever filament profile is assigned to that spool.

  • Global Overrides: Ensure the Flow Ratio setting in your main Process/Print profile is left at default or synchronized so it doesn’t override individual material settings.

  • Saving Custom Profiles: After running flow rate calibration tests, click the Save As icon on the filament profile tab to save it as a preset (e.g., Generic PLA - Calibrated 0.96). Make sure to assign this custom profile to the correct CFS slot in the prepare view before slicing.
