K2 pro shifting layer lines

Some advise needed to a newbie in 3d printing. my printer(k2 pro) is just under 200hrs.

I’m printing mostly stuff for the kids at home.

For some reason unknown to me i cant seem to print large/high objects without the layer lines moving a bit a few times in one print. (hamster wheel solid cylinder)

Having done a few checks. belt tension and print head screws and having done calibration more times than i can remember. lubed all the sliding parts with the grease that came with the printer.

firmware updated again today.

printer is becoming a paper weight due to this.

What else can i do to improve on this?

… look at what is written on the tube of grease! It is not for lubing the rods but for the nozzle if you have to replace it…

So time to clean the mess you made…

Used the metal grease not the thermal paste.

Creality’s “Metal Grease” (also known as Lubricant Grease) is a mechanical lubricant used exclusively for printer motion systems like Z-axis lead screws and Y-axis linear rails. Do not confuse this with Creality Thermal Grease, which is heat-conductive paste for the hotend.

Thank you for the reply.

It is not out/moved by much. The “shifts” causing an uneven surface. On bigger prints it comes and goes. Some parts smooth and some rough.
Yes printer is vertical and on a solid wood table.

I think it might be caused by the filament (Creality ender flourecent orangePLA) causing uneven extrusion. Cfs Moisture at 21% temp 25’C.

I this was printed upside down, in the picture the top part was on the build plate. I tried to use random layer start points to see if it helps.
