K2 series v Sermoon D3

What does the Sermoon D3 offer that is better than buying 3 or 4 K2 machines? Yes I get that a lot of the construction is CNC machined which costs more and may make it a more rigid machine but is it really worth that much more money? I suppose you have to have a machine that is in competition with Ultimaker and the like, but with consumer machines being so good would you really notice the “upgrade”?

It’s already available since last year, so about one year earlier than the K2 Plus, so there was no real option to buy a K2 Plus instead so far.
I can only assume the semi-professional field is targeted better in some way with it, like by having additional types of support etc. available compared to consumer printers.
