I have been noticing some small gaps in my prints lately. I’m not sure what the issue is as it is happening on both the K2pro and the K2plus with the same model. I have run some of the calibrations so far nothing has changed. I’[m going to do a small test and see if the issue is always in the same area. I have set my the Creality slicer to .08mm standard with a .04 nozzle.
If anyone has any idea where to look that would be great. In the meantime I will be running more test as well.
.o8 is super fine, I believe that is your issue, plus your print time must be super long, I would start with just changing your hieght to .12-.2. there is nothing in the picture that shows detail of .o8
Printer is capable to print in 0.08 layerheight… so that should not be an issue. Wondering if you print this material on the right temperature, to cold will result in underextrusion…
Hi Mac486,
Thank for the info. In the Creality Print for the K2 series there is a preset for .08. As for print time it wasn’t that bad for printing two of them at once. I think it was like 16 hours.
Mr_MBR,
I’m using the CFS with the RFID spools. Wouldn’t that be taking care of the heat. I have just finished running the calibration test for both at standard setting and can’t see any issue. I ran one test at .08 by mistake and had an issue with the K2Plus. The K2 pro was just fine. I’ll post images soon.
can you post a pic of the slice. Also just because its a preset doesn’t mean it will work. I have had similiar issues at .1. its becasue of the geometry and layer/height. however once you know what to look for you can normal see it in the slicer. look at your sliced model vs the printed in that area
