New Falcon User. Couple of questions

Setup my A1 yesterday and tried to do a test with a file from etsy. Now I cannot find the lbdev config so I tried to manually adjust settings. Power was probably too high so test was aborted and noticed some light burn into the bottom of the metal tray. Assuming that is not terrible but also not something to be repeated. Should I put another metal sheet below to avoid damage to the machine? Should I create a profile specifically for the material I am using?

Will probably switch back to design center to get the hang of things. Not discouraged but not a great start. Any other tips would be welcomed. Thanks.

The metal tray at the bottom won’t be cut through, it just looks worn. If you have not problem with that just use it like that.
