I’m running CrealityPrint_6.0.3.1591 on my K1-Max. During the setup of a print, the bed does not go all the way up to the nozzle. It moves about 2 inches at a time and tries to find the nozzle. It will do that 3 times, and when it doesn’t hit the nozzle it throws an error telling me that the nozzle tip sensor failed. I have to say resume for it to continue.
I think you have a board issue. Before getting a new board, you could try upgrading to this which ditches the stock leveling system. It’ll be cheaper than getting a new board and you’ll have faster and more accurate probing too. If you don’t have another printer, you can use a local service or an online service like JLC3DP to get the mount printed. If you’d rather roll the dice you can get new strain gauges and a leveling MCU here
