Opening external 3mf file merges parts and discards colours

The attached 3MF file has 3 parts, each with different colours. When I open it as a project in Creality Print v6.1.2.2458 (Linux), the model appears with just a single part, not three. Also, the colour assignments are lost.

What I was hoping to happen:

  • The project opens with the 3 parts as separate objects
  • For each part, the CFS colour mapping auto-assigns a filament from the CFSs which best matches the part’s colour.

My only workaround has been to:

  • Automate the saving of separate 3MF files for each colour
  • Open the lower-most part into Creality Print
  • Right-click on the object, choose ‘Add Part’, then load the remaining parts
  • Manually assign the colour to each object

Is there a way to streamline this process?

Upgrade to later version.

I’m on this version of Creality Print and it saves/loads multiple object types/colours correctly in the 3mf
