hi going mad trying to add pause and resume to prints so I can add magnets to prints. I can pause but nothing will resume the print can anyone help???
resuming requires the nozzle at set temperature as well possibly bed on set temperature. I would check if these conditions are met, if the temperature drops bcoz the nozzle/bed is being turned off while paused, then it will take time for it to reach the set values. May take minutes, depends on how long the pause was.
I would also have a question, have you tried to pause manually? like check which layer you want to pause at, then use the display on the printer to pause, and resume from there also.
Have you added some custom Gcode and/or changed the Gcode? maybe that prevents the printer from reaching the required values?
I once set the bet to 100°C while on idle, and whenever some project got finished, the bed would go from 60 to 100°C and, cooling down back to 60 too like 5~10 minutes, so i had to wait until the bed cools down before printing would start, a silly mistake which does cost a lot of time.
