Printing my first PETG temp tower to see how my KE will respond to this new material. I’ve had my printer for a few months and have only printed PLA. We’ll see how well it responds. Its currently printing and no issues yet.
Actually turned out better than I thought. I decided on using 250C and with my bed temp at 80. No warpage and first layer stuck like glue. I’m happy. After the tower was finished I printed Dummy 13’s frame parts in PETG and they came our great. Fit’s pefect and he’ll hold any pose I make. I printed the armor out on orange PLA and found a cool skull head (printed out of PETG). The only issue I have with my Dummy 13 is the feet were printed in PLA and the toe section will not snap in place. PLA is not the right material for these snap together joints.
