I want root back!!!
I have owned an Ender 3 for years and was considering upgrading to a K-series printer. However, I decided not to purchase because newer models appear less open and harder to modify. Long-term firmware access, root access, and community support are important factors for me. I would reconsider a Creality printer if future models maintained these capabilities. I like Creality but there a better options available.

J’ai choisis de continuer avec Creality après avoir été satisfait de ma Ender-3 V3 KE. En particulier la philosophie open-source (root) . Mais la je le regrette puisque ma K1C 2025 n’est pas rootable de série. Donc pourquoi rester avec Creality qui oblige maintenant l’utilisation de sont écosystème qui est encore au stade Beta . Donc le choix devient évident Creality n’a plus aucune avantage sur Bambu Lab. donc fini Creality pour moi..
i bought my first machine and I don’t think i’m gonna buy another Creality just because of that
