Hi everyone,
I’m looking for feedback on another Instagram reel — this time for a small April Fools-style 3D printing project.
The design is a compact set of stylized printable bugs meant for harmless pranks and casual fun. I intentionally avoided making them too realistic because I wanted the project to feel playful rather than creepy or uncomfortable.
Here’s the description used in the post:
“It’s a prank!
This design is a compact set of 8 small 3D printed bugs designed for light, harmless pranks—perfect for April Fools’ Day.
The models include a mix of spiders and simple insects. They are intentionally stylized rather than hyper-realistic, so they create surprise without causing real fear or discomfort. This makes them ideal for office jokes, friends, or everyday playful moments.
All bugs are optimized for fast printing—you can produce up to 40 pieces in just 30 minutes, making this a great option for batch printing and sharing.
The set also includes a compact snap-fit storage box. It keeps everything organized and easy to carry, so you can always have a few bugs ready and wait for the perfect moment to use them.
Key Features:

whether the storage box adds perceived value to the project

what could improve the overall presentation
Honest criticism is welcome — especially if something feels weak, confusing, or easy to skip.
