Random wrinkled or uneven outer walls

Good afternoon everyone,

I have 7 Creality K1 High printers, and all of them have shown the same issue since I bought them, but lately it has been getting worse: random wrinkled or uneven outer walls, like in the photo.

I have already ruled out the common and advanced causes:

  • Flow calibration

  • Pressure Advance

  • Temperature

  • Different accelerations

  • High outer wall speeds (+120 mm/s) and low speeds (~60 mm/s)

  • Inner walls kept constant at 150 mm/s to avoid nozzle pressure fluctuations

  • Seam settings and extra distance to help release pressure before the outer wall

None of these changes have solved the problem.

What is strange is that it happens on all 7 machines, so it does not seem like an isolated printer issue.

If anyone has had this kind of wrinkled wall defect and managed to solve it, I would really appreciate any advice or shared experience.

I forgot to upload the photo. Here it is

Try printing a basic cylinder to see if it happens as well, if it doesn’t it means that it could be the object itself.

You may also try to increase infill as it might be too sparse and when filament shrinks during cooling that it warps a bit

Have you tried setting the seam to random?

If not try random seam.
