SparkX i7 refuses to change filament on the print screen. Try many times to change from PETG and color and even though the Prepare window changes and NEVER CHANGES in the PRINT WINDOW !!

Can NOT CHANGE FILAMENT !

So unless you change the filament type on the printer or in the devices tab for the printer, it will show what you have set up there, regardless of what you have set in the prepare tab. So, the proper procedure is:

  1. Load the filament and on the printer, select the slot and set it to whatever you actually loaded in the printer. (or load it and go to devices in Creality Print and set the color/type there).
  2. Click the auto mapping button in the prepare tab (looks like a cfs) and it will update the selections in prepare.

If you just change the selection in the prepare tab, it won’t physically change what you have loaded in the printer, so when you slice it will use whatever was set on it, and not what is in the printer.
