Hi,
Is anyone else having this issue.
When generating tree supports, the slicer is automatically adding extra support around the model.
Does anyone know hot to make it to stop?
Thanks in advance
I do not know, which slicer you use.
But you should have 3 basic options: no supports, automatic support or manual support.
So you may choose no supports or manual.
Hi, thanks for the reply.
I’m using the creality slicer.
When using the cura slicer the supports are ok. I just can’t figure out why creality slicer is adding this and how to switch it off.
Thanks
Is that the interface material that it prints between the support and the actual print, its like a third layer of lower adhesion that is easier to break away?
It does look like it,but the interface is switched off and Cura does not put it when the interface is on on it.
I’m having the same issue. How can I leave the tree support, but remove the extra support around the model?
Anyone able to figure out why the support structure extends beyond the model’s boundaries and how to turn it off?
I’m using Creality Print v5.1.7.10514. This didn’t happen with v4.3.8…
