Support material removal

Hello,

I just upgraded to Creality Print V7.2.0.5226 and after printing, I find removing support material is nearly impossible. I had no issues prior to this update. That’s the only thing I can think of that changed from when it was all good. I am using PLA and PLA-CF. I’ve tried changing nozzle temp to 200C, Z gap changes, basically what I’ve read in this forum about getting supports to release easier. I don’t understand why alll of sudden I cannot remove support material. Any help would be appreciated.

Same here WTF

I use tree supports, z axis at .23 and 3 top layers. my supports fall off or stick to the bed when I pull the print off. They come off super clean

I will try that when I get home from work and let you know. Thanks for the input.

Are you using 0.2 layer thickness?

That worked much better. Trees came off part clean and were easy to remove from the plate. Thanks for the tip!!

i use .2 to .4 thickness depends on the print,

glad i could help

I use slim tree supports, 2 interface layers with 0.05mm more than my layer height, so for 0.2mm layers 0.25 top z. And have great luck with support removal
