There's also a problem with local printer management

Hello,

After the latest update, I started experiencing an issue with my printer.

As you can see in the screenshot, the files I upload to the printer do not appear in the “File” section of Creality Print, even though they are present on the printer’s local network.

Details:

  • File upload to the printer is completed successfully

  • However, the File / History list remains completely empty

  • Because of this, I cannot select the file or start the print via Creality Cloud

My goal:

  • To see the uploaded files in Creality Print or Creality Cloud

  • And start or manage the print from there

This issue did not exist before the update and started occurring immediately after it.

If anyone has experienced the same problem or knows a solution, I would appreciate your support.
I can provide additional logs, videos, or screenshots if needed.

Thank you.

Hi I have the same problem after updating to the latest version of Orcaslicer 2.3.1. Before updating I could se the files and start them from the window in my Mac. I am using a Mac Studio with Apple M1 Max, 32 GB, with macOS 15.7.3. After updating I can only delete files from that same window but not start printing. I have to go to the printer Creality K1 Max and start print manually from there.

I’m not sure if this would work in your case but when it happened to me awhile ago I found that deleting some past projects on the printer itself took care of it. The printer has 8GB of memory for the print jobs and when it fills up past 7GB you get messages sometimes about that.
I think you can look at the about tab and see how much memory is left.

I checked the usage and after resetting earlier to factory settings it´s memory usage in now only about 2 GB of 8 GB.

So it looks like it’s showing the file history now..

Yes, it shows history of files. But I can only delete files there. NOT start printing them. Delete seem to be the only alternative. SO I still have to go to the printer and start printing the individual file there. It all started after upgrading to latest firmware and latest Orcaslicer. Then I did a factory reset for cleaning out. After that I am stuck with this situation.

You did a factory reset at the printer and the previous files are still there? Is your printer rooted? If rooted you can remote login and delete all the previous files.
