What is the Module PCBA_MF003_INTERFACE_V20 for K2 Pro Combo

Hi,

I’ve been troubleshooting my K2 Pro /CFS with Creality Support. It is suspected that the cable to the CFS was removed while the power was on. I was sent a new CFS mainboard, cable and a Module PCBA_MF003_INTERFACE_V20. I found the video for replacing the CFS mainboard but I have no idea where the Module PCBA_MF003_INTERFACE_V20 goes.

Any help is appreciated.

Jay

Honestly I don’t know the board but looking it up i guess it’s the board in the upper half. There is a board in the plastic part where the feed tubes go through in front of the spools.

The board handles the status lights, RFID and filament sensors. So my logic choice would be there.

Good luck

Thanks for your help. I finally figured it out and the label on the bag threw me off. Looking closer and noticed it had the CFS cable connectors on the board, I found out it is the board on the back of the CFS with a ribbon cable connecting to the CFS mainboard

I installed the mainboard, ribbon connector and the board and…nothing, still dead CFS.

Take care,

Jay

I’m a believer too about powering down and wait for all of the capacitors to drain before restarting.
Unfortunately I think the problem is the board with the cable connectors on the back of the printer. The blue light on the buffer does not come on when filament is evident. I tried a second buffer I knew that worked and both did not show the light.

Thanks,

Jay
