The screws are loose and I cannot seem to tighten them up on one side. I think they are stripped.
Is there a replacement piece or an upgrade available?

Those screws are not supposed to be tight, they allow for any variation/play in the leadscrews. You tighten them and then back them off by about 1/2-1 turn. Not sure that I have seen a replacement or upgrade for that part.
Appreciate the feedback. The issue was that apparently being new to the device I had misjudged how much to tighten it prior to “backing off” and had stripped it.
I ended up putting a washer and bolt there to get a proper perspective on how tight it was, and all is good now
