What the HECK is going on here!?

I’ve just printed this tray, and it mostly looked OK (apart from the standard first layer issues!) but what on earth happened with the seam?? This was sliced using a newly downloaded copy of the new version of Creality Print, with the standard .6 nozzle profile and standard ABS profile (except I reduced the ABS printing temp to 230degrees, as my Sunlu ABS seems to prefer that. Otherwise everything is default Creality profiles. How can the seam settings be SO WRONG??

Tried again using “scarf” joint for seam - much better! - so, what’s the correct seam settings, and why was the default SOOOOO bad?

Looks like a Pressure Advance issue with the value beeing too high. You could try rerunning calibration.

Thanks Hendrik - I thought I’d dialled this one in, but I’ll try that again.
