What's going on?

I got my Falcon A1 10W ~2 weeks ago (along with a smoke purifier), I’ve already had to change the filters on the smoke purifier after less than 10 hours of engraving, and after updating my firmware to the latest, I still can’t connect to Falcon Design Space…but now Lightburn is failing to do any job that has more than one layer. Guess this is why everyone said to buy Xtool, not Creality, unless you were a masochistic DIY-er.

Guess I need to take advantage of that 30 day return, given the lack of customer support people.

Why should Lightburn fail with more than 1 layer? That makes little sense. What does the Lightburn preview show? You can see what it would do to each layer individually. Or does it stop at a random point because the USB disconnects.

It ended up that there was some kind of issue with Lightburn using buffered communication vs. streaming, I had two larger multi-layer projects that both failed repeatedly but three smaller single layer projects worked. After changing to streaming communications yesterday, I’m not seeing the issue any more. I still can’t get Falcon Design Space to see the unit.

Hi! Sorry for the trouble you’re going through, can you kindly send me your email address and order number? I’ll let our support team to follow up.
