Hello,
I’m a newbie to 3d printing and this happened just after a successful print job. Why would this happen so perhaps I can prevent it happening again.
Thank you,
Lee

The filament has gone back up the heat sock. Double checking which printer model this is. If it is a V3KE it could be a loose nozzle. Should be able to remove this with a heatgun or soldering iron and tease it away, be careful of the wires, break those and it might need to be replaced.
