Wifi Connection CR-10 Smart Pro

I have been given a CR10 Smart Pro and this is my first 3d printer.

I am not a newbie to tech so this has frustrated me to no end and creality support has been no help.

All I want to do is connect it to my wifi or ethernet cable.

Maybe this printer is past support and some updates no longer available.

Any suggestions?

I keep readng about a micro SD card on the wifi board. I have looked and unless its underneath the label attached to the wifi board, its not visible.

Appears there are no files on the website to flash the firmware either.

Am I missing something?

You could start with downloading the Creality Cloud app or Creality Print on a PC and see if it connects with it. It only uses 2.4 GHz I believe.

Used to own a CR10SP. Gave it to my son-in-law when I bought the K2 Plus. I seem to remember the microSD card was on the right side of the printer. I, personally, never used the wifi but I know my son-in-law did, through the cloud I think. I know that jimandyen is correct about it only using 2.4 GHz. It also didn’t like negotiating wireless extenders, which is why I didn’t use the wifi.

The CR-10 Smart Pro has a separate Wi-Fi board. That board contains a microSD card slot. You may need to remove the bottom cover. The card is on the Wi-Fi module.
