Worrying Noises

Hi, Just bought a K2 Plus Combo after having an Ender 3 for a while.

During setup and calibration there are a lot of loud unsettling noises made by the printer. As if it is forcing things.

First of all during alignment the bed moves up to about an inch before the extruder. Then it moves slowly up and just before the head there is a loud bang. It then moves up a bit more and completes the task. During that though there are other loud bangs. It finishes with a ‘Oops’ Self-Check complete where ‘Oops ‘ clearly means finished or Status or something else but Oops.

Is this normal? It is something I would normally expect with something hitting a hard stop at speed.

As I’ve just got it I don’t know what to expect and Creality pointed me to a checksheet when I’ve checked a few screws but everything seems OK.

Any thoughts?

Edit: I continued and printed off a Benchy. It made all the same noises then. Very noisy and worrying. I could hear the clunks in the other room. The Benchy printed OK though. I’ve watched a few videos on YT where people print things and nobody has any noises like this.
