Creality CR-6 SE stuck in auto-leveling
-
Hi All,
I have assembled the 3d printer as per the video but when I try to do auto-leveling the nozzle heats up to 120 degrees as expected and then it moves to the left and just stays there, basically nothing happens afterwards. Also the touchscreen is not responsive at this point and it suggests that the printer might be stuck. Has anyone else faced a similar issue and could you help in resolving this.
Thanks

I also have the same problem but not when auto leveling but just before printing when homing, the x and y axis home normally but when it doing the z axis home the indicator for ABL already turned on before it reached the bed after some time it will cancel the home and the touchscreen froze, I have to power cycle the printer and after that it will print like normal.

@ramgathreya I had this problem turns out I didn't plug in the Z axis power. It's hidden and not in the instructions. Look around you'll see it.

Dear @ramgathreya
Did our after-sale team feedback your email? Did your printer work fine now? Thank you

Dear @SerialHobbyist
For the broken Y-Axis, please make a picture and send it to kickstartersupport@creality.com, also with your serial number of the machine we will check and send you a new one. Thank you.
For the head move issues, please provide a video for us to understand. Thank you.

@djanitor Thank you.

@jim_s Thank you.

@admin I'd love to help out, but I'm afraid I don't know anything about this issue, as mine is working fine - I just hit the appropriate buttons on the screen, it heats up, does it's little hunt-and-peck routine around the build plate, and then it seems happy. Very lucky for me, perhaps not so much for some others.
Sorry I can't be of more help, but this definitely sounds like an issue people need actual support on. (vs some random guy on the internet making uninformed suggestions...

For what it's worth, my auto level is being finicky on one of mine as well. I noticed it was stuck at 119 degrees. I rebooted the printer. Did a preheat PLA, and then ran an autolevel and it worked, it seems like it didn't actually hit 120 degrees was the problem for me.
-
Hi @jim_s, as your auto-leveling is working, could you give a hand on this issue? Thank you.
-
@ramgathreya I will push them to apply soon. Thank you for supporting.

@admin The sample file did not work. The printer is still stuck I have sent an email with a link to the video to cs@creality.com as you have suggested. Could you please help me out in getting this issue resolved. Thanks.

Mine had this (or at least a similar) problem and it turns out to be a broken y-axis belt. The head would move up-down and left-right but not in-out so the leveling got stuck.
I'm still waiting on customer support as to what to do about it.

Dear @ramgathreya, Please empty the SD card and print this model to see if it can print normally.
